“Legal Issues for Nurse Educators” Workshop

On September 29, 2017, Dr. Anne Brett conducted a workshop, “Legal Issues for Nurse Educators,” at the NJ Hospital Association. She discussed classroom, clinical and student issues that faculty face from student rights, to faculty rights, to reasonable accommodations. She explored with the audience how these issues affect the learning experience and presented actual court cases and their outcomes. Emphasis was placed on practical strategies for successfully navigating the current educational climate.

Dr. Brett’s presentation was highly rated with numerous positive comments as: “Very engaging organized speaker,” Anne was excellent!
